My stomach growled and i jumped off the cloud and free fell for a bit before using my wings to land softly. I ran into the forest and quickly grabbed a deer.

I jolted awake, cocking my head. I stood and froze, listening. I caught the sound and turned to face where it was coming from.
I opened my beak and let off a screech that would travel for miles.
They're coming...but why? I thought.

The Gr--nevermind. I thought as three shapes appeared on the horizion.
A couple minutes later, three griffens landed infront of me. I bowed to the one in front.
"My Queen."

I stayed up on my cloud for now, just watching, my ears just able to catch their voices. I was glad there wasnt a breeze to move my cloud

"How is your mission going Zoraki?" The Queen asked.
"Of what you said, its not happening, they're not doing anything...yet." I said.
"Then take them out." The Queen shot.
"But they're no-"
"Are you defying my orders?!" The queen screeched, clawing me in the face.
I take that back...maybe stars can be right. I thought, rising to face my queen.

Why would she want to take us out? i asked, and got up on my cloud. If a fight started, i was ready.

"Listen to your ruler!" The queen screeched when i wasnt looking at her.
I stared at her, cackeling.
"I wont listen to you, for you wont be here any longer." I mocked, rearing.
The queen mimicked my move, we flared our wings for balance.
Let the fight for dominace comense. I thought, as we crashed together.

I knew not to interfere with this battle. But i did fly down to be there if something went wrong. The other 2 griffens glared at me, but i could feel them debating, whether to attack or not. I could feel them settle on not to. . . . For now.

The queen hit me with enough force to knock my off balance, sending me crashing to the ground. She quickly stood over me, lunging with her beak for my neck. I took my wing and covered my face, i still cried out when the queen's beak tore through. Acting swiftly, i bit her on the leg, making her back off enough so i could stand.
The queen screeched, rearing. She was between me and the river. Big mistake. I charged and headbutted her in the stomach, toppling her into the water, but not before she tried to take me with her by clawing up my back real good. Before i could even shock the water, she was out. Her being water logged gave me the advantage. I took to the air, just out of her reach.
I looked down to see the other two griffens just standing infront of Echo, clicking their beaks. Echo's back was turned to my fight for the moment, and the queen took advantage of it. She gave me a wicked grin before charging Echo, beak open for mega damage.
I screeched once before diving between them, the queen's beak driving in deep right behind my shoulder.
I gave off more of a gurgle then a screech. I turned to the queen, and reared, bringing my weight down on her head, before pecking the back of her neck, hitting an important chord, killing her.

The two other griffens cawed softly, before taking off, no doubt to return to griffen lands and find a new queen. I dropped to the ground.

ooc: longest post EVER!! sorry for makin you the way i wanted, i had this all planned in my head for the entire day Razz

NRR: lol tis okay!

I stared in disbelief.
"You actually saved my life."
I quickly padded over to her and started the healing process. I drew water from the grass, and worked it between her feathers so she wasnt water logged. I did enough to hold her over, and then i grabbed her onto my back.
"Dont even think about protesting," i muttered, and headed to the healing cave.
