Enraged at the fact that not even my mind was safe, i launched out of the hole i dug and at Echo.

I put a small shield of darkness around me, lashing out at anyone who went near me.

"You can, just not near me." I spat. Turning back to the shield, I watched. Being corious, I went as close as possible and gave the loudest and highest screech ever.

The shield let a small burst of darkness sting Zoraki, and it then started to sting her on the body. When it stopped, I laughed. The shield wasn't usually that defensive.

"Too true.." I chuckled. The shield was starting to fade away, but I soon gave it some more energy to run.

I clicked. My wings were soaked, so no flying for hours. Turning my full atention upon the shield, i screeched again as i rammed it.

The shiled just bounced at the spot it was rammed in, like little waves moving away from it. It lashed back, a long whip-like beam lashing at the tender spots.

I gave a shriek of slight pain as the darkness bit me. Furious, my eyes glowed bright green as i went to go slash the shield. If that didnt work, then i would attack with my beak. Being a griffen, my beak could normally break through anything.

I just sighed and stepped to the side, Zoraki ramming into the tree. I dug under the tree quickly with my earth, and sealed it. She couldn't get in no matter what.
