Star Light Tigers! A History!

Human Research

Scientific Name: Light Panthera Tigris Star

Status: Extinct (to human knowledge)

Usual Death Age: 400 years (aprox.)

Habitat: Adaptable, but prefers mild climates and mountains.

Diet: mainly deer, elk, moose, ect.

Family: Usually stay with one mate. Letters usually consist of a single kit or the very unlikely set of twins. Up to 2 kits a year (if singular litters).

Clans: Clans usually consist of 2 to 4 families. Close knit.

Pelt: black with white stripes

Markings: The Mark (once they get it)
Extra: white wings

Life: After 10 years, kits have the decision to stay in the clan or become a nomad. If they decide to leave, they are rarely able to come back, often forced out of the territory. Once a nomad, SLTs can find a mate and start their own clan, or be solitary.

The Mark: SLTs receive a mark on their forehead once they do one of the greatest accomplishments of their life, or save someone. Each mark is different for that generation. Marks only repeat when once the tiger that had it before has died. It is usually silver or white.

Weapons:
SLTs can use any weapon they like, but once they get their mark, a special weapon chooses them. The Moon Sword is the most legendary weapon of the Star-Light Tigers. It is often passed down throw the Forest Striped Clan, for the sword almost always picks one from there. It was blessed by the Moon Goddess when created by faeries that were closely allied with SLTs at the time.

No, thier ears. (sorry, I forgot to put that in my post *face-palm*) Now they have little tiny plastic-looking peices of skin on the sides of their oddly large heads (their heads are nearly as big as their bodies!).

Oh, and, they are starting to get tiny, itsy bitsy tiny little hairs (their backs are starting to get darker with the fur). Razz
