An idea struck me. I could fly again, which meant.

We were over the banks when i tried it agian. The sound was once more a cross of a caw and hum. Because we were in the air, some of the earth gave way.

"Dont count on it" I hissed. Then something came into my field of sence.
"Eagle feathers!!" I screeched. This one thing, griffens could detect from miles away, it was our one enemy. And this one was coming fast in my direction, for me. It was huge!
"Let me out, NOW" I screeched at Echo.

I gave her a questionable look but then i felt it to. I didnt know wat IT was, but i let her go quickly.

I took off, skyrocketing to the air. I hid it well, but i was nearly shaking with fear.
"Eagle feathers!" I cursed, as the beast came over the horizon.
Dragon alert! I thought with dread And a huge hungry one at that.

I had gotten bored just sitting in the cave waiting, so I walked out to the banks.

A massive fire red dragon dropped from the clouds. It emitted a roar at seeing two tiny creatures.
Little fur balls! You dont know when to stay out of others ways do you!!? I roared. Clearly, something had it ticked

The dragon dropped from the sky and landed with an earthquaking thud. He turned his massive head and stared at the two with one black eye.
